Evaluation of the practical properties of mouth rinse

Summary
The article presents an practical effectiveness evaluation index of mouth rinse (PEE index, Ulitovskiy S.B., Sadovsky V.V., 2025), which allows quantitative assessment of objective properties of oral rinse aid and recommends its use in oral care. The dental and hygiene conditions of a particular patient. The 18 parameters of the index and the criteria for each of the three-point system are given, as well as the formula for calculating the aggregate index according to the numerical knowledge of the criteria and parameters. The practical application of the PEOI Index to assess the effectiveness of specific rinses is illustrated by two examples.
